Erin and Mike and their kids always spend Thanksgiving weekend at their family cottage. This past fall, before they headed north, we met up a Coronation Park in Oakville for a family photo session, making the most of the beautiful fall sunshine. Erin knew that she wanted a combination of posed and candid photos of the family, including the kids individually.
We had a great time roaming around this beautiful park, making the most of the variety of features – wooded areas, open lawns and the pebbly beach. The winds were so high that afternoon that we couldn’t get posed shots on the beach (it was swirling so much, long hair was blowing EVERYWHERE) but that didn’t stop everyone from skipping rocks! Thankfully, away from the beach, the wind was dampened by the small hills and trees, allowing us to get the more “organized” photos.
When Erin and I met for her ordering appointment, top of her list were prints for a gallery wall and additional smaller copies for grandparent gifting. She was able to pick out the top images for the gallery but loved so many more photos that she just didn’t have wall space for, so we pulled together a collection to put into a coffee table book.
