Duggans were overdue for family photos
It’s been nine years since the Duggans had a family portrait taken. Now, with Kasey off to university, and both he and Keira having milestone birthdays this year, it seemed to be the right time for an update. Because it had been so long since Tanja had worked with a professional photographer, she relied on my experience for guidance on timing and location. She was thrilled by the results and glad she trusted me. “You had some great suggestions regarding lighting and where to take the photos.”
Like many teenage boys, Kasey wasn’t thrilled by having to participate in a family photo session, but he relaxed into it. Tanja commented “You managed the family personalities very well and were able to capture some fantastic photos.”
Created a gallery collection of framed photos
Once the family saw the proofs, they agreed on a clear collection of favourite pictures. This meant that our ordering appointment mostly came down to deciding on what format to produce the photos in and what sizes. Tanja and I spent time with my wall gallery design software and came up with a great arrangement for the wall that she had picked out. With one of the whole family photos as the centrepiece, we added a balance of smaller prints of the single and pairs photos to create a stunning gallery. Below is the mock-up from our design session – I can’t wait to see the finished product on the wall.
