One of the challenges when booking family photography sessions is that you’re never sure what mother nature is going to offer on the day the session arrives. As a professional with years of experience and training, I’m usually able to make the best of whatever comes our way. On this Sunday evening in August however, there were no such challenges. This was a dream of an evening to make gorgeous, relaxed portraits for the Kahn-Ahmed family. We hit the sweet spot of the golden hour light where everything has a beautiful glow. Add to the mix a brother and sister that were more than happy to follow my suggestions of “run around” “climb on the playground” or “hop across the rocks” (with just a dash of sit and look at the camera), and the result was this beautiful gallery of images that will soon be gracing the walls of their family home.
