Saturday Afternoon Family Photo Session
When Bryan, Ann Marie and their boys first arrived at the park for their family photo session in September, little Henry was still a little groggy from falling asleep in the car. To give him a chance to wake up a bit, I spent some time chatting with big brother Jack. And boy! did he have some things to tell me! We chatted and made some of his portraits together and were soon buddies. It didn’t take too long for Henry to get into action, and then the fun really got started.
Fun and Games
Ann Marie had told me when we were planning her session that she wanted a few posed portraits to hang as wall art in their home and also a collection of more candid, relaxed images for a coffee table book. To help with the candid photos, I like to play silly games. Jack and Henry were thought this was great fun (I think I surprised them a bit).
Second Location
Since our park location was really close to the family’s home, we split our session, and reconvened there to get some photos with the family dog, and using the lovely front porch of the house. Once we were there, the boys invited me to check out their play structure in the back yard, more giggles ensued. I could have hung out and played all afternoon.
